Thomas Jefferson's magnificent home in Virginia was an irresistible challenge. I painted this one from a snapshot I took on one of my delightful visits to the hilltop.
This Artblog is a short record of some of my paintings over the years. Many of the photos here were scanned from very small prints of snapshots taken with a handheld film camera in poor lighting conditions. While they are not especially clear, they constitute the only record I have of these paintings. I hope that you can get at least some idea of what I had in mind. I will be adding a few comments to explain some of the paintings, eventually... perhaps.
Awww... I didn't know you painted Monticello. I want this painting to remember our visit there. :)
